4 drug suspects gunned down

Three suspected drug pushers were killed in drug busts in Bulacan, Nueva Ecija and Batangas while a drug surrendere­e was shot dead by an unidentifi­ed assailant in Ilocos Norte on Tuesday.

Joseph Rondal, 27, was driving his motorcycle along the Pinili-Nueva Era Road in Barangay Capangdana­n, Pinili, Ilocos Norte when he was shot by a motorcycle­riding assailant at around 7:45 p.m.

Police said Rondal surrendere­d under Oplan Tokhang in 2016.

In Bulacan, Michael Conception allegedly engaged police officers, who posed as buyers of shabu, in a shootout in Barangay Duhat, Bocaue.

Joselito Mayagma, alias Kabs, reportedly shot it out with anti-narcotics agents in Barangay Balante, Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.

In Batangas, police said Joel Manongsong was shot dead when he resisted arrest after selling shabu to undercover agents in Barangay Solo, Mabini.

Manongsong was also facing rape charges.

P3.9-M shabu seized

Meanwhile, 65 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P500,000 were seized from Annabel Estrada, Marlon Olimos and Jackielou Macabenta in Barangay Paliparan 3, Dasmariñas, Cavite also on Tuesday.

In Zamboanga City, Erun Asi Hassam, 62, and Atong Bajad Ladjahasan, 64, yielded 12 sachets of shabu valued at P3.4 million in a drug bust in Barangay Mampang, Chief Superinten­dent Emmanuel Luis Licup, Zamboanga peninsula police director, said.
