Big Event cockfest at Pasay today

The first bigtime cockfest of Pasay City Cockpit for 2019 unwraps today via the annual Bulldog Big Event 6-Cock Derby bannered by more than 150 fights.

Seeing action are participants from recent international derbies like World Pitmasters Cup and World Slasher Cup.

Supported by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, the event will be hosted by Mayor Francis Espiritu and Team Bulldog.

The powerhouse Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) gears up for the 2019 Cocker of the Year race, starting with the first leg (7-cock) on Feb. 15 and 18 (3-cock elims) and Feb. 22 (4-cock finals).

A series of bigtime derbies get going at PCC next month.

These are Tiger Shark and NML San Luis 6-Cock Derby (Mar. 1), PL2 Malainin 5-Cock Derby (Mar .8), Ripper 6-Cock Derby (Mar. 15),Fa Fa Fa 6-Cock Derby (Mar. 22) and Be My Guest 5-Cock Derby (Mar. 29).
