Korea features spring season at Travel Tour Expo 2019
KOREA Tourism Organization (KTO) will showcase Korea’s diverse products in this year’s Travel Tour Expo (TTE). The spring-themed Korea Tourism Pavilion is located between aisles M and O (first floor) and will complement the booths of Busan Tourism Organization, Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, Incheon Tourism Organization, Jeju Tourism Organization, Korean Air, Asiana Airlines and Jeju Air.
Special airfares and discounted travel packages to Korea may be purchased from participating airlines and partner travel agencies. All-inclusive spring season travel packages to Seoul, Busan, Gyeonggi, Incheon and Jeju Island, as well as special themed free-and-easy/ airfare + hotel (Korea Fits You) tour products may be availed of. As a bonus, KTO will give away special gifts to those who will book and purchase plane tickets and tour packages to Korea on-the-spot.
Gangwon honorary tourism ambassador Ryan Bang and Kapuso actress Glaiza de Castro will lead KTO’s set of activities as they perform Korean and Filipino pop songs at the event’s central stage. After their performances, there will be a fan photo and fan sign event at the KTO Pavilion. Bang will also host a live game show wherein visitors can win special prizes. Also, SB19 — a new KPop-inspired Filipino all-male group — will sing and perform during the three-day event.
Visitors of the KTO Pavilion get to try and witness preparation of traditional Korean cuisine, join a K-Pop dance session and Korean fire-noodle eating challenge. They may also join the “Imagine your Korea Stamp Tour” and get a special souvenir by collecting stamps from participating regional tourism organizations. There will also be presentations about Busan, Gyeonggi Province, Incheon and Jeju Island, and on Korean tourist visa guidelines.
