PHLPost issues ‘King and Queen of Hearts’ stamps

In time for the celebration of love this week, the Philippine Postal Corp. (PHLPost) has issued a “King and Queen of Hearts” stamp as part of its efforts to make Valentine’s Day more memorable.

This year’s Valentine’s Day stamp features the “King and Queen” drawings of a Filipino and a Filipina in national costume.

The “Queen Hearts” is seen holding on to letters and hearts can be seen on the two stamps. The words “Pilipinas” and “Araw ng mga Puso” were also printed. The price of P12 on each stamp is located at the upper corner of the stamp.

The stamps and the official first day covers of the “King and Queen of Hearts” stamps can be purchased at the Philatelic Counter of the Manila Central Post Office located at the Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila and at all PHLPost postal areas.
