2 teens die in motorbike mishap

Two students were killed when their motorcycle was dragged by a tractor truck along a highway in Quezon City on Friday afternoon.

Gino Rose Estoquia, 19, and Jan Mayrielle Palomo, 18, were on a motorcycle and were about to take a U-turn along Mindanao Avenue in Barangay Talipapa when they were hit by the truck driven by Ronie de Guzman, 44.

The two victims were dragged for around 50 meters with their motorcycle, investigators said.

De Guzman is in the custody of the Quezon City Police District Traffic Enforcement Unit.
