According to CIDG chief Director Amador Corpus, police served warrants for the arrest of Regalona for qualified trafficking in persons and violation of Republic Act 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law.

The arrest warrants were issued by Judge Byron San Pedro of the Taguig Regional Trial Court Branch 69.

The court set a bail of P200,000 for charges of qualified trafficking in persons. No bail was recommended for child abuse case against Regalano.

Corpus said an informant tipped the police about the suspect’s location.
