BRITISH CHAMBER HOSTS BUSINESS OUTLOOK BRIEFING:
The British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines recently hosted a business outlook briefing for 2019 at the Dusit Thani Manila. The briefing discussed the challenges that the country faced in the past year and how these have been addressed, as well as plans moving forward this year in driving economic growth and investments. BritCham Philippines chairman Chris Nelson delivers the opening remarks. Among those who graced the event are UK Ambassador Daniel Pruce, Finance Undersecretary Karl Chua, Trade Assistant Secretary Angelo Taningco and renowned economist Bernie Villegas who shared their insights about reforms in aiding the improvement of the Philippine business climate as well as plans and opportunities to look out for this year.The event was attended by almost a hundred participants from various industries and sectors and was sponsored by SGV, Meralco, KMC Savills and Unionbank.
