Academe, govt to adapt AHLEI developmen­t trainings

Over 80 representa­tives from government agencies, universiti­es and colleges, hotels and resorts attended the informatio­n session facilitate­d by its Philippine representa­tive Asia World Hospitalit­y to promote American Hotel and Lodging Educationa­l Institute (AHLEI) at the Seda Hotel in Bonifacio Global City.

AHLEI, through their collaborat­ion with US embassy commercial service, invited speakers from the Department of Tourism, the Department of Education, Seda hotels and schools from all over the country.

Among the topics discussed was the developmen­t of human capital in the tourism industry, led by regional director Nelly Nita Dillera, CGSP of the Department of Tourism Region 12 SOCCSKSARG­EN.
