Mili­tia­man hurt in Maguin­danao bomb blast

MAGUIN­DANAO – A mili­tia­man was wounded in a bomb ex­plo­sion in Guin­du­lun­gan town on Tues­day.

Maj. Arvin Enci­nas, 6th In­fantry Di­vi­sion (ID) pub­lic af­fairs of­fi­cer, iden­ti­fied the vic­tim as Acob Mustapha.

Acob and his com­pan­ions were pa­trolling Barangay Ma­casam­pen when an im­pro­vised ex­plo­sive de­vice in an aban­doned hut ex­ploded, ac­cord­ing to re­ports reach­ing the 6th ID.

Probers said the Bangsamoro Is­lamic Free­dom Fight­ers could be be­hind the at­tack.
