Cain at Abel airs finale tonight
GMA Network’s action-family drama Cain at Abel concludes its run tonight.
Kapuso viewers followed the compelling tale of two brothers, Daniel/ Elias played by the station’s Primetime King Dingdong Dantes and Miguel portrayed by Drama King Dennis Trillo, who grew up in two very different worlds.
Dingdong said he definitely enjoyed doing the series because of its intriguing plot. “Napaka-rich nung istorya,” said the actor, adding that it has many layers and storylines worth following. “Ikaw na ‘yung pipili kung ano ‘yung gusto mong
tahakin na istorya. That’s why you have many good options.”
He likewise had a great time working with everyone, praising the collaborative effort of the entire team. “I enjoyed the teamwork of the actors more than anything. The director and writer are very, very open to us, artists. So maganda na ganun ‘yung working environment dahil alam na
‘yung every scene is different and can be improved because of the different interpretations.”
For Dennis, Elias is one of the most challenging roles he has done since “isa ito sa mga characters na
siguro punung-puno ng sorrow kasi si Elias lagi siyang inaapi.” He noted that despite the good things that his character does, he always ends up in compromising situations. “Mabait ba talaga siya o dala lang ng pagkakataon tsaka ng mga hindi magandang pangyayari sa buhay?”
Dennis also said that the most fun and fulfilling part of doing this show is being able to work with Dingdong again. “Of course, as the days go by, I can say our working relationship gets better than ever. Before, we never meddled in whatever happened behind the cameras or in the scenes that we did, but now, we’ve matured. Mas naintindihan na namin paano tumatakbo ‘yung mga bagay sa likod at harap ng camera. So we all have ideas that we want to share to (the production people) to improve the (filming) process.” Under the direction of Don Michael Perez, don’t miss the finale of Cain at Abel after 24 Oras on GMA Telebabad.
