Bulaga still a Kapuso

TAPE Inc. and GMA Network officially sealed the renewal of their blocktime agreement for the airing of Eat Bulaga in a recent contract signing.

“It’s now our 24th year with GMA,” said TAPE Inc. president and CEO Antonio P. Tuviera. “Nagpapasal­amat kami dahil GMA

ang nagbigay sa amin ng tahanan. Aside from that, we’re also thankful for the opportunit­y to celebrate our 40th anniversar­y this year.”

The Eat Bulaga Dabarkads — Sen. Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Jimmy Santos, Anjo Yllana, Ruby Rodriguez, Allan K., Pauleen Luna-Sotto, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballestero­s, Ryan Agoncillo, Pia Guanio, Luanne Dy, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Baeby Baste, Maureen Wroblewitz, Maine Mendoza, and Alden Richards together with TAPE Inc. SVP and COO Malou Choa-Fagar, SVP for production creative and operations Jenny Ferre, AVP for Production Helen Atienza-Dela Cruz, AVP for Production-Studio Operation Sheila Macariola-Ilacad, director Poochie Rivera — came to witness the event.

GMA chairman and CEO lawyer Felipe Gozon expressed his admiration for the show and its hosts, “I really admire this group, Eat Bulaga, na walang kupas. That's why it will stay. The tandem of Tito, Vic and Joey, and those who will be part of it, the program will run for a very, very long time.”

Meanwhile, GMA EVP and CFO Felipe Yalong is happy for Eat Bulaga’s continued success. “Tayo’y natutuwa dahil nag-sign up ulit

sa atin ang Eat Bulaga. It’s an exciting show, it’s the longest continuous running show in the world with the original hosts, Tito, Vic, and Joey. We’re very happy that they continue to be with the Kapuso Network,” he shared.
