4 die in Luzon road mishaps

Four persons died in separate vehicular accidents in Pangasinan and Ilocos Sur on Saturday.

Pepito Valdez, 33, was on a motorcycle that collided with a tricycle driven by Flordelito Flores, 32, in Barangay Pao, Manaoag.

Valdez reportedly tried to overtake a car driven by John Paolo Abustan, causing him to hit Flores’ tricycle.

Valdez and Flores were declared dead on arrival at the Manaoag Community Hospital.

Meanwhile, Abel Andallo and his wife Jane were on a motorcycle when they figured in an accident in San Juan, Ilocos Sur.

The victims were traveling in Barangay Lapting when their vehicle slammed into a pickup at around 8 p.m.

Andallo reportedly tried to avoid hitting a dog, causing him to lost control of the vehicle.

The victims were declared dead on arrival at the Pira Hospital in nearby Cabugao town.
