Perry, Bloom engaged
LOS ANGELES — US pop star Katy Perry, 34, and “Lord of The Rings” actor Orlando Bloom, 42, are reportedly set to marry this year, The Straits Times reported yesterday, quoting DPA news website.
Perry has been dating Bloom since early 2016. They separated briefly in 2017 but got back together last year.
Their postings on their respective Instagram accounts stirred speculation over their impending wedding. Bloom and Perry each shared a selfie showing her wearing a flower-shaped ring. “Lifetimes,” Bloom captioned the photo, while Perry wrote “full bloom.”
Perry’s mother shared photos from the event on her Facebook page, writing in a since-deleted post, “Look who got engaged on Valentine’s Day,” People magazine said in another report.
Bloom and Perry were first romantically linked in January 2016. In August 2016, Bloom’s naked photos circulated online while he and Perry were paddle boarding in Italy.
