More than 100 fights up in the NCA derby today

Hosts Gladwyn Gomez of Negros, Firefly Group, Nestor Mercado, Lito Orillaza and Alex Ciruela announced more than 100 fights among the country’s best cocker-breeders today at the Ynares Multipurpose Building in Pasig.

NCA members competing are Gomez, Mercado, Lito Orillaza, Ciruela, Ang, Ricky Magtoto, Patrick Antonio, Gov. Ito Ynares, Firefly Group, Richard Perez, Pipo Soliman, Eric dela Rosa, Elan Nagaño, Edwin Tose, Rene Medina, Jun Arcilla, Many and Arman Santos, Jojo Cruz, Cholo Violago, Dante Eslabon, Jun Bacolod, Jun Roble, Efren Canlas, Tony Marfori, Jimafer and Edgar Santos.

The invited guests are Reymond dela Cruz, Paul Estrellado, Tony Lizares, Kennneth Larrazabal, Ogie Villanca, Atty. Cascolan, CDL Delta Group, Paul Teves, Darasa Coliseum, Norman Bengco, Fiscal Villanueva, Marvin Rillo, Manuel Sy, Dori Du;

The defending champion team of Manny and Arman Santos is seeking a title repeat but could face tough opposition from Antonio, who is putting two entries to boost his title bid.

Also in contention are well-known cockers Bong Pineda, Fil-Am Rene Medina, Ynares, Dori Du of Davao and Sonny Lagon of Cebu.
