- By EMMANUEL TUPAS

A cocaine brick was found floating in the waters off Baler, Aurora yesterday.

The cocaine, weighing one kilo and estimated to be worth P5.4 million, was recovered near the shores of Barangay Reserva at around 5 a.m.

The brick of cocaine was wrapped in a piece of rub- berized plastic and labeled “Lexus,” according to Col. Bernard Banac, spokesman for the Philippine National Police.

The brick was found by a 56-year-old construction worker, who immediately reported the matter to barangay officials.

The recovery prompted the local police to scour the shorelines for similar items.
