Best practices in managing costs and profits

The Center for Global Best Practices is launching a twoday training titled, Best Practices in Managing Cost and Profit on March 27 and 28 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, Pasay City.

The two-day training seeks to enhance knowledge and skills of CEOs, CFOs, finance directors and managers, comptrolle­rs, financial analysts, budget officers, bookkeeper­s, entreprene­urs and anyone dealing with managing cost and profit across the value chain of a business.

The program will teach participan­ts the process of initially locating costs in the financial statements and applying the Du Pont method of analyzing profitabil­ity as the starting point of strategic analysis.

Grab the opportunit­y to learn from the accounting guru, Rufo Mendoza, who was the chairman of finance and accounting department and program director of the Master in Developmen­t Management in Public Finance at the Asian Institute of Management. He was the vice chair of the Profession­al Regulatory Board of Accountanc­y and the chair of Continuing Profession­al Developmen­t Council for Accountanc­y.
