Kindness Moon There’s much that has happened as a direct result of ambition and hard work, yet it still pales in comparison with what has happened as a direct result of kindness. Even the smallest act of kindness ripples out in untold ways and unlimited rings. This reminder comes to you courtesy of the philanthropic Aquarius moon.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). You’ve witnessed displays of baffling skill that have made you want to pull off similar feats. These things always take about 10 times longer than you think they should but still may be worth the time it takes to master them.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You’ll put in extra effort and ideas, whether or not they were asked for or will be appreciated, because giving anything less than all you’re capable of just feels wrong to you.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Opportunities abound, but you have to decide what you’re looking for first to recognize them. So take a breath and get focused on what you honestly feel would make your life better.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You lead many lives within this one – a family life, a work life, etc. – overlapping, interconnecting experiences, each an essential part of who you are. Your fantasy life counts here, too; allow yourself to dream.

1) The asteroid Kalliope (named for the Greek Muse and spelled the Greek way) is a large asteroid currently moving through the constellation Ophiuchus. 2) Stories are a staple of humanity. 3) Humans organize the world through stories. Perceptions are ordered through them, and roles are defined by them.
4) The collective and individual hu- man identity is forged in narrative – stories told to one another and stories told by each human to himself or herself.
5) A string of facts is not a story. A string of facts is the raw material for endless stories.
6) What makes a story is not what’s in it but how it’s told.
7) If you ever want to change who you are, change your story. Don’t make things up; rather, use what’s there but think of it in another way.
8) The first step in changing a story is in realizing that it is one.
9) Humans tell themselves stories all the time (often unhelpful and fearinducing stories!) without realizing that is what they are doing. 10) The best way to test a story is to tell it to different audiences. ^Calliope’s realm classically includes epic poetry, but for the purposes of aligning with modern sensibilities, liberties of interpretation have been taken.
