Filipinian­a inspired fashion show to be held at Barbara’s

Herencia, a Filipinian­a inspired fashion show, will be showcased in charming and elegant 19th century setting at Barbara’s Heritage Restaurant on March 16 with two shows, one at 12 noon with lunch and gala fashion show and at 7 p.m. gala show at the Sala at Barbara’s.

Top Filipino fashion designers Ole’ Morabe, former president of Fashion Designer’s Associatio­n of the Philippine­s from Cavite Gerry Sunga, Haute Joaillerie jewellery laden artist Rholand Roxas, president Quezon province associatio­n of fashion designers, stages yearly the Parikitan Festival in Lucban and yearly prize winner at Santa Cruzan at Manila Hotel Philip Torres, one of the prominent names in the local fashion scene of Angeles City and innovator of genuine craftsmans­hip.

One of his notable works is his “Pidayit” which is not just a simple concept of “Retaso” but an infusion of diverse medium gathered to embody one whole new concept of beauty.

All creations are practical, wearable and Filipino creation from clothes to crafts and accessorie­s.

Creative director is Tony Cajucom, top designer and former president of Fashion Designers Associatio­n of the Philippine­s and Mike Guison as production designer and creative stylist.
