47 nabbed for drugs in MM
Fortyseven people believed to be involved in drugs were apprehended in separate operations in Metro Manila in the past two days.
In Quezon City, a family of five was arrested during a drug sting.
Luzviminda Vinluan, 49; Rolan Vinluan, 48; Timoteo Vinluan, 42; Sandro Vinluan, 43; Maria Luningning Vinluan, 29, and Mark Anthony Angeles, 39, were nabbed at their house along Luzon Avenue in Barangay Old Balara.
Luzviminda was the target of the drug bust. The other suspects were allegedly caught in the act of sniffing shabu.
Twenty other drug suspects were arrested in Barangays Unang Sigaw, Pasong Tamo, Silangang, Krus na Ligas, Pinayahan and Immaculate Concepcion.
In Makati, three persons were nabbed for alleged shabu possession in Barangay Palanan.
They were Jason Rebota, 24; Maricel Rebota, 38, and Francis Azul Bien, 26.
In Taguig, three other suspects were arrested by antinarcotics agents.
Michael Calazang Jr., 34; Aldrin Mutia, 29, and Mhae Abalunan Ladi, 28, are being held by police on drug charges.
In Manila, 11 drug suspects were nabbed in separate stings in the past two days.
Members of the Manila Police District Station 5 raided an alleged drug den along Estero de Paco and arrested 10 suspects.
They were Brady Villarico, 48; Anghela Escolastico, 37; Eduardo Teliquedo, 46; Rodolfo Obera, 33; John Eric Mamaradlo, 34; Lolita Lim, 43; Evelyn Escolastico, 44; Jorge Bengano Jr., 32; Edgar de Guia, 45, and Richard Cabrera, 23.
Police said they recovered 12 packs of shabu and drug paraphernalia from the suspects.
Luis Chito Budomo, 36, said to be a drug pusher who had gone bigtime, was apprehended at the corner of Sto. Cristo street and Recto Avenue.
When frisked, police said Budomo yielded 20 more sachets of shabu.
