DLSMC provides Alaga’t Kalinga during MVP cares medical, dental mission
De Los Santos Medical Center (DLSMC), the 7th hospital under the Metro Pacific Hospital Holdings Inc. (MPHHI) umbrella, recently participated in the 2nd MVP Cares Medical and Dental Mission held at the First Pacific Leadership Academy (FPLA) compound in Antipolo City. The institution joined other MPHHI hospitals such as Makati Medical Center (MMC), Asian Hospital and Medical Center (AHMC), and Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) in providing free medicines and medical consultations to close to 2000 residents in the Antipolo area.
The two-day CSR event – dubbed Pusong Alay sa Antipolo – was spearheaded by the First Pacific Leadership Academy in partnership with the Philippine Medical Association of Southern California (PMASC), and in coordination with the local government of Antipolo City.
DLSMC sent a contingent of internal medicine doctors, obstetrician-gynecologists, pediatricians, and pharmacists to bring its brand of Alaga’t Kalinga patient care to the beneficiaries of the endeavor. Meanwhile, dental and other medical services were provided by local government partners and the aforementioned US-based non-profit professional organization.
MPHHI, which currently operates 14 hospitals nationwide, is the hospital investment arm of the Manuel V. Pangilinan-led Metro Pacific Investment Corp.
