Promil Four little i-Shiners shine on big stage
They may look like ordinary kids but when Lukas Magallano, 14, Telesa Marie “Esang” de Torres, 11, and Yessha de la Calzada, 9, are on-stage or in front of the camera, they perform and shine in the most extraordinary way. What these kids have in common is that they were born with genuine talent that were spotted and nurtured by their parents, and honed at Promil Four’s i-Shine Talent Camp, the most highly-anticipated talent development program in the country.
Lukas was hailed as the first grand i-Shine winner in 2012, “Before joining i-Shine, I was just an ordinary kid. But now, I’m the loud actor and singer,” beams Lukas, now 14 years old, and currently a part of Team Yey!, a children’s television show that airs on ABS-CBN TV Plus.
Meanwhile, Esang won the Promil Four’s i-Shine Talent Camp in 2014 at the age of 7, while Yessha was one of the two grand winners of the talent camp in 2016 at the age of 6.
To help more Filipino kids unleash their full potential, Promil Four’s i-Shine Talent Camp is back for its 7th season this summer 2019. With classes in Metro Manila, Batangas, Cebu, and Davao, the camps will be mentored by experts, including Robert Alejandro of Papelmelroti and Kara Escay for the Art Camp, maestro Ryan Cayabyab for the Music Camp, celebrity choreographer Teacher Georcelle of G-Force for the Dance Camp, stage veteran Audie Gemora of Trumpets Playshop for the Theater Camp, and Lisa Macuja of Ballet Manila for the Ballet Camp.
