A full-flavor experience
It was a fun evening as Chivas Regal Philippines hosted a blend of food, cocktails and music at Mazzo by Cicchetti, the newest rooftop bar in BGC. The bar, which serves scrumptious Italian bites, is run by the same people behind Belle & Dragon. Mazzo managing director
Indy Villalon said, “We’re happy to partner up with Chivas. Our goal is to serve fine quality cicchetti (small bites), which can be staples on their own, and at the same time, continue innovating our offering with the seasons.”
Guests enjoyed a food spread prepared by chef Allan
Levanza, which consisted of chicken cacciatore, porcini
trifolati cicchetti, prosciutto MozzaBalls and crispy testa. The dishes were paired with craft cocktails concocted by guest bartender Enzo Lim.
Chivas Regal, the luxury Scotch whisky known to be one of the pioneers of
blended whisky, held an interactive session during which guests discovered the “Art of Blending” led by Chivas ambassador Hamish Houliston.
“We want to offer whisky lovers, and everyone who is interested, the opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of whisky. We have a lot of things planned this year that we’re very excited about. One of them is to really give our consumers not just a better understanding of the brand, but also to provide a full flavor experience,” Houliston said.
Beats from Abdel Aziz and Major Chie amidst the BGC skyline were a perfect way to cap the night.
