GERI expands footprint in Batangas
Global-Estate Resorts Inc. (GERI), a subsidiary of Andrew Tan-led property giant Megaworld Corp., has expanded its residential footprint in the province of Batangas.
In separate disclosures yesterday, Megaworld said GERI launched a fourth residential development inside Twin Lakes, a 1,200-hectare tourism estate development in Laurel, Batangas, just near Tagaytay.
The fourth project is the eight-storey Twin Lakes Countrywoods, which is a resorttype condominium tower.
With this particular development, GERI is offering 129 units ranging from studio (up to 32 square meters), executive studio (37.5 sqm) and one-bedroom (58.5 sqm2q).
All residential units have their own balconies, offer- ing unparalleled views of the Tagaytay ridges as well as the Taal Lake and Volcano.
GERI is expected to generate around P900 million in sales from Twin Lakes Countrywoods, which is due for completion in 2024.
”Twin Lakes Countrywoods will stand on a hill ridge of Twin Lakes that offers a breathtaking panorama of Tagaytay’s natural green landscape overlooking the worldrenowned Taal Lake and Volcano,” said Glenn Heraldo, head of sales and marketing at Megaworld Global Estate Inc.
Amenities of the new residential development include a swimming pool and kiddie pool with a pool bar and viewing deck, cabanas with grilling area, basketball court, kid’s club and kiddie room, outdoor playground, semi-indoor sports area, fitness center, lobby lounge, game room, as well as function rooms.
So far, GERI has already sold almost 1,000 residential units in Twin Lakes worth around P6 billion from the first three residential condominium developments launched during the past seven years. These include the three towers of The Vineyard Residences, three towers of Twin Lakes Manor, and three towers of The Belvedere.
Last year, GERI also opened its first hotel development in the estate, the 122-room Twin Lakes Hotel, managed and operated by Megaworld Hotels, the same group that operates the Savoy and Belmont brands.
Megaworld and GERI have been pursuing various projects outside Metro Manila as part of efforts to help spur growth outside the capital and decongest already dense urban areas, said Kevin Tan.
