Unleash the takumi spirit
In an event held recently at Whitespace in Makati City, Toshiba introduced to its guests the takumi spirit, which is a craftsman’s approach to work in his relentless pursuit of perfection. This is the brand’s vision for each of its products.
Leading the event were Toshiba Lifestyle Corp. International general manager for global business solutions Hiro Onda, Concepcion Industrial Corp. (CIC) chairman and CEO Raul Joseph Concepcion, Concepcion Midea Inc. general manager Phillip Trapaga, CIC consumer solutions division president Harold Pernikar Jr. and chief communications officer Rafael Hechanova Jr.
Chef Margarita Fores prepared a special Japanese dinner for the guests. While Nicole Laurel Asensio sang lovely tunes that the crowd enjoyed.
Toshiba, a brand we are all familiar with, now makes available to the Philippine market its latest line of stateof-the-art home appliances. I remember growing up with some Toshiba appliances at home, and now I am glad to know it is back.
During the event, more than 20 of the brand’s top-of- the-line products were raffled off. The evening’s grand prize was a complete showcase of Toshiba products including the modules for display, which was won by corporate guests from AllHome.
These quality appliances that are both convenient to use and perform well include washers and dryers, refrigerators and top load water dispensers. With these products, consumers can now enjoy the spirit with the assurance that these appliances are designed, engineered and manufactured with superior Japan quality and reliability.
