Halik, Pangako Sa’Yo air in Tanzania and Dominican Republic

ABS-CBN’s Halik and Pangako Sa’Yo are making waves abroad after the Kapamilya network secured deals with media networks in Tanzania and Dominican Republic to air the top-rating programs in their respective countries.

Halik, which won Best Acting Ensemble in a Drama Series at the 50th Box Office Entertainm­ent Awards, has been airing in Tanzania since February after ABS-CBN forged a deal with Azam Media. Meanwhile, the Pangako

Sa’Yo 2015 remake starring Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo marks a new milestone as the first Philippine drama in the Dominican Republic that started airing in March on Color Vision Canal 9.

With the two series’ presence abroad, ABS-CBN continues to grow its internatio­nal business, adding to the over 40,000 hours of content the company has sold worldwide.

Both teleseryes have a passionate legion of fans after captivatin­g viewers from all walks of life.

Halik ended its run on Philippine TV strongly, recording an average audience share of 25 percent in April. Its finale episode also trended on social media. On the other hand, Pangako

Sa’Yo remains as the most successful distribute­d Philippine drama series internatio­nally after being sold to 16 countries.
