Lil Nas X leads Teen Choice noms

Sensationa­l upstart Lil Nas X leads the line-up of music nominees in the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. This is the awards organizati­on wherein the winners are chosen by kids aged 13 and adults aged up to whatever. Votes are cast online in platforms like Twitter. And the top choice among those who will get the much-coveted custom-made surfboard.

Lil Nas X is now known as the rapper who can’t be stopped. His song Old Town Road with Billy Cyrus is now on its 11th week at No. 1 and he just kept Chris Brown and Drake away from the top with their latest collab No Guidance.

Lil Nas X is up for awards in five categories, including the Choice Male Artist Award. He is followed by Post Malone who got four nods and then Halsey, Khalid, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift with three nomination­s each.

Voting is now going on and winners will be announced live on Aug. 11 during the awards rites that will be held at Hermosa Beach, California. Here goes the list of nominees:
