Villar-led mass housing unit expands at exponential pace

-

Bria Homes, until recently a fledging player in the real estate industry, has emerged as the fastest-growing mass housing developer in the Philippines, as the takeover of the Villar Group allowed it to benefit from its new owner’s proven market expertise.

The developer is a subsidiary of Golden Bria Holdings Inc., considered the third largest real estate company in terms of market capitalization valued at more than P200 billion. Golden Bria, in turn, is part of Villar’s listed Golden Haven Inc., a memorial park developer that recently diversified into other property ventures.

Bria Homes now has more than 50 housing projects spread on more than 700 hectares of land, which are located in over 40 of the country’s progressive towns and cities nationwide, with even more projects currently in the pipeline.

From the start, Bria Homes’ vision has been to offer hardworking Filipinos their dream homes in the form of economical house and lot packages and budgetfriendly condominium units.

Toward this end, it has developed a formula: affordability plus superior quality equals a beautiful home for every Filipino. This formula has empowered ordinary Filipinos—new entrepreneurs, blue collar workers, young professionals, newly married couples and small families—to go after their dream home for as low as P1,897 a month, through flexible payment options such as Pag-IBIG funding or bank financing.

Recently, Bria Homes said it is ramping up its expansion in Mindanao, with the development of several communities in Davao, General Santos City, Kidapawan City, Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental and Bukidnon.

The mass housing developer said it is encouraged by Mindanao’s growing economy which has been buoyed by trade, tourism and agro-industrial businesses, plus the government’s infrastructure push in the region.

“Prospective buyers in Mindanao will find various affordable housing options that range from rowhouses and townhouses to single firewalls with prices starting at P540,000,” Bria Homes said.
