CGBP to launch trilogy of best business practices

-

To equip business owners, members of the board and management with the right set of skills and tools, the Center for Global Best Practices is launching its CPDaccredited best business practices trilogy at the Marriott Grand Ballroom, Resorts World Complex, Pasay City.

The best plans happen when you have a systematic planning process that is done the right way. Best Practices on How to Conduct Strategic Planning and Prepare Strategic Action Plans (to be held on July 12) is designed to teach attendees the best “real world” practices in coming up with an effective strategic plan that is fully aligned and integrated with the company’s overall objective of value creation.

Budgeting plays a very critical role in the Planning-Budgeting-Strategy Execution cycle. Best Practices in Financial and Operational Budgeting (to be held on Sept. 4 and 5) will equip attendees the necessary skills on how to apply budgeting tools, techniques and approaches in different business situations. This course will walk you through the entire budget process so you can build your realistic master budget covering operational budget, cash budget, financial budget, and capital expenditure budget linked to your strategic plan.

Lastly, learning the Best Practices in Strategy Execution (Oct. 25) will teach participants how to properly convert a wellcrafted plan to optimum results! Attendees will learn about the six stages of Palladium Execution Premium Process™ (XPP), a framework developed by management gurus Bob Kaplan and Dave Norton; and recognized by Harvard Business Review Publishing as “one of the most important management ideas in the past 75 years.” Learn about the comprehensive six-stage management model designed to address one of management’s greatest challenges: how to link strategy formulation and planning, with operational execution.

These special programs will feature seasoned practitioners and experts in their field of expertise. Registration is open to the general public. CGBP is an accredited training provider of the Civil Service Commission. Public officials and government employees attending this event can earn points and are exempted from the P 2,000-limit set by COA based on the Department of Budget and Management Circular 563 issued on April 22, 2016. Interested participants are encouraged to avail of the early registration, early payment and group discounts available for each program.
