Toy Kingdom’s Giant Monopoly at SM Supermalls

Celebrity families were literally on board to play an iconic board game together as Toy Kingdom recently brought the first-ever Giant Monopoly to the country at SM Supermalls.

At SM Megamall and SM Mall of Asia, celebrity guests like Barbie Almalbis-Honasan, Joy Sotto, Priscilla Meirelles-Estrada and Luigi Muhlach together with their respective families had the chance to experience the fun and exciting Giant Monopoly first hand.

As board game enthusiasts know, Monopoly is a fastdealing property trading game by Hasbro where players roll two dice to move around the board game. Purchasing and trading properties as well as turning them into houses and hotels are part of the game. There are also various chance and community chest cards and tax squares where players can earn or pay money.

Toy Kingdom’s Giant Monopoly was larger than life. And celebrity families enjoyed a friendly competition with one another as they rolled two huge dice and used the oversized community and chance cards, green houses and red hotels. Players walked through the life-sized board game boxes holding their respective tokens as one family.

The game included the usual property squares in the Monopoly board but since this was the first-ever Giant Monopoly in the Philippines, the life-sized board game also included Philippine and SM-themed property squares such as: Light Rail Transit, Seaside Boulevard, SM MOA Arena and SM by the Bay which made the game even more fun and exciting.

Toy Kingdom’s first Giant Monopoly was also opened to public where kids and kids at heart also enjoyed playing with the board game with their families and friends.
