Three’s A Company at Music Hall
It’s groovin’ time come Aug. 10, 9 p.m., at the Music Hall (Metrowalk, Ortigas Ave., Pasig City) as not one but three balladeers serenade you with your favorite songs and bring you down the memory lane with the classics.
Kiel Alo, Carlo Mendoza and LA Santos promise to give jaw-dropping performances in Three’s A Company concert under the musical direction of Butch Miraflor.
“This is my very first time in a real concert. The last performance I did was when I guested in Macoy Mendoza’s birthday concert also at the Music Hall months back. Now, I’m one of the main performers kaya abot-leeg ang kaba ko (laughs). As our manager (Jobert Sucaldito) said, because this is what I want, then I have to give it justice, and I agree,” Carlo said.
“I’ve done a lot of shows already but this one looks very exciting for me because there are three of us here, with different styles and genres,” added LA, also saying that he’s excited to work again with Butch because “he wants to bring out the best in you.”
For Kiel, on the other hand, “I’ve been singing for many years already and I just so love it. Singing is my life — it’s my ultimate passion. I love doing hugot songs because I can really relate (laughs).” Kiel and Carlo will also debut their first singles — Aasa Ka Ba and Bituin — composed by Vehnee Saturno.
Joining the concert are special guests singer Laarni Lozada, impersonator Dulce Viado and the comic duo AJ Tamiza and Le Chazz.
