Remitly launches new home at Greenfield Tower
As a concrete manifestation of its business growth in the Philippines, Remitly Inc. formally inaugurated its new office at Greenfield Tower, a landmark state-of-theart office building at Greenfield District in Mandaluyong City.
Leading the grand launch were Remitly CEO and co-founder Matt Oppenheimer and television personality and Remitly ambassador Kim Atienza. Greenfield president and chairman Jeffrey D.Y. Campos and EVP and general manager Atty. Duane A.X. Santos were present to congratulate Remitly for this milestone and in marking new possibilities for further growth.
The celebration, themed, “New Home, Bright Future,” underscored the rapid development of the online remittance company whose mission is to provide the most trusted financial service products for Filipino immigrants and their families.
“Moving to a new office is symbolic of our bright future in the Philippines. From over a hundred employees a few years ago, we now have over 500 people in the organization and we’re still growing. This is a big step going to a bigger journey,” said Oppenheimer.

Greenfield Tower has three telecommunications providers and two separate telecom risers remote from each other. The 30-story high-rise enhances the working environment with its retail floors, roof deck garden, and function room. It will also have a restaurant on the 30th floor.
Twenty floors or 43,697.55 sqm. are dedicated for leasable prime office spaces. Each office floor has a gross leasable area ranging from 2,141 sqm. to 2,224 sqm. Five units of 2,000-kilowatt capacity generator sets (four active, one stand-by) all are capable of operating 56 hours straight before refueling and providing 150 percent backup power for the entire building. Each floor’s quadrant has a pre-designated data center area. It has individual electric and water meters as well.
