QC HACKATHON VIES FOR GUINNESS RECORD:

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte (4th from right) is spearheadi­ng the bid for the world’s largest multi-city hackathon in the Guinness Book of World Records to culminate the celebratio­n of the city’s 80th founding anniversar­y on Oct. 30 – 31. The Impact Hackathon, hosted by Impact Hub Manila, is a 24-hour on-the-spot coding marathon interfacin­g programmer­s, developers and innovators to create sustainabl­e solutions for specific problems.
