Que­zon City Mayor Joy Bel­monte (4th from right) is spear­head­ing the bid for the world’s largest multi-city hackathon in the Guin­ness Book of World Records to cul­mi­nate the cel­e­bra­tion of the city’s 80th found­ing an­niver­sary on Oct. 30 – 31. The Im­pact Hackathon, hosted by Im­pact Hub Manila, is a 24-hour on-the-spot cod­ing marathon in­ter­fac­ing pro­gram­mers, de­vel­op­ers and in­no­va­tors to cre­ate sus­tain­able so­lu­tions for spe­cific prob­lems.
