SM Foundation holds latest medical mission in Bacoor

BACOOR, Cavite - SM Foundation partnered with National University, Dalta Jonelta Foundation and SCMC volunteers to bring its medical and dental mission to Bacoor, Cavite.

Conducted at SM City Bacoor, the medical and dental mission served 1,547 patients. The beneficiaries availed of free medical consultation (1,194), dental check-up (50), chest x-ray (36), ECG (51), sugar test (50), cholesterol test (41), uric acid test (25) and bone scan (100).

This is the latest medical and dental mission conducted by SM Foundation.

Last month, medical and dental missions were also conducted at SM City Iloilo with 909 beneficiaries and at SM City Bacolod. The medical mission in Bacolod served 1,342 patients and was conducted in partnership with the Bacolod City Health Office, Bacolod Kiwanis and Negros Economic Development Foundation.

For the Visayas medical missions the SM Foundation Mobile clinic was transported by sea from Toledo Port in Cebu to San Carlos Port in Negros Occidental.

The mobile clinic transported by ship to places far from hospitals and clinics. Above, patients receive free medicines. Below a senior citizen gets medical attention.
