K-pop star Sulli commits suicide
SEOUL — K-pop star and actress Sulli Choi was found dead yesterday, apparently from suicide, at her house in Seongnam, Gyeonggi province, according to a report in
The Korea Herald. Sulli hanged herself. Sulli was a former member of the K-pop 5-piece band f(x). She took a yearlong break in 2014 due to alleged online bashing and unsavory rumors.
She staged a comeback in 2015 and pursued a career in acting. According to reports, Sulli’s manager found her lifeless on the second floor of her house. Police are still investigating the case. Her last move was “Real” in 2017 alongside Kim Soohyun. She also made her solo debut in June with her single album “Goblin.”
