There are two significant days to remember: the day you were born and the day you figured out the reason for your being. It’s the world that convinced her that she did not.

“I know that all of us have stories about able, intelligent and capable women who were passed up for major promotions and leadership roles. It was painful as it was for reasons that were difficult to address… For some reason, the bar seems to be higher because we’re women.

“The good forces along the way that propelled me to greater heights were beyond my colorful and random dreams — falling for the right person, anchoring on a strong foundation, knowing when to hold and when to fold, embracing my womanity and finding the positive in most situations helped me. — NINA AGUAS executive chair, ” Insular Life

I realized that in this chosen corporate field, we create as much value as we do, influencing as much lives as an entrepreneur does, inspiring women, educating a lot of people, and, at the same time, making more people hopeful for the future. — ISSA GUEVARA-CABREIRA managing partner, 917 Ventures ”

We advocate gender equality in the workplace. Based on our research, we found out that Filipinas in the workplace have proven themselves in numerous industries much better than men. — RENE GENER, executive director, People Management Association of the Philippines ”
