P5.4-M shabu seized in Pasay

Six persons were apprehended yesterday in a drug sting that yielded around P5.4 million worth of shabu in Pasay City.

They were Nasrip Andrada, 25; Rakin Cosain, 40; Noe Picana, 30; Abdul Benito, 25; Florando Castrence Capistrano,

25, and Erickson Lapa Alueta, 36.

City police chief Col. Bernard Yang said the suspects allegedly sold drugs to a policeman who posed as a buyer.

Police said they recovered 10 packs of shabu, drug paraphernalia, P3,560 in cash and a Toyota Fortuner allegedly used by the suspects in the drug trade. –
