CIMB is best consumer digital bank

CIMB Bank was named “Best Consumer Digital Bank” in the 2019 Asia-Pacific Global Finance Awards presented at New York.

CIMB Bank Philippines chief executive officer Vijay Manoharan said the bank is honored to have been recognized in just its first year in the market.

“We owe many of our milestones to our clients, for trusting us and our services, as their financial partner. We look forward to empowering more Filipinos and bringing them closer to financial freedom,” he said.

Within its first 10 months of operations, CIMB recruited over one million Filipino customers into its new digital banking model and platform.
