FinAsia Land opens newest seat leasing facility

-

FinAsia Land Development and Construction Corp., which has years of experience in retail planning and lease marketing, recently marked the opening of its newest seat leasing facility, with 657 seats at the eighth floor of Robinsons Plaza in Mandaluyong with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Starting November, FinAsia is sub-leasing the entire floor, spanning 3,600 sq. meters and composed of 657 seats. Parking space for 40 vehicles is available.

Pangilinan says today’s work environment has changed. Businesses prefer short-term contracts of three years instead of the 15-year period of long ago. Coworking space makes it easier for businesses, especially those based abroad, to manage operations. Instead of constructing or renting an entire building they no longer need after a few years, businesses can lease an entire floor with several seats and other capital expenditures like tables and chairs.

“We manage the assets for you so you can focus on operations,” explains Pangilinan, whose own office at the 30th floor of the Corporate Center in Meralco Avenue, Pasig, is a co-working space.

The idea, he adds, is workplay balance. Workspace is now strategically found beside malls and commercial areas so people can enjoy leisure activities after work.

FinAsia, he adds, is also into property management. It can outsource manpower requirements like security, maintenance and receptionists for 24/7 business operations. This saves the company a lot of time and effort in getting the right people for the job.

“Our target is 25,000 to 30,000 sq. meters of subleased coworking spaces a year,” Pangilinan goes on.

Some of his clients include Business Processing Offices (BPOs) at the Ayala 30th Corporate Center, Citidines Millennium in Ortigas and the Ayala Bay Area.
