LIMA township adds study in its live-work-play development

-

AboitizLand, the property development arm of the Aboitiz group of companies, lives up to its philosophy of creating better ways to live, this time by promoting access to quality education.

The company recently partnered with Edustria Senior High School, a joint venture between the Far Eastern University and the Technological Institute of the Philippines, which will open its first campus at The Outlets in Lipa, Batangas, the commercial component of the 600-hectare mixed-use township LIMA Estate.

Edustria aims to provide industry-relevant education that enables its students to achieve meaningful careers, economic upliftment and life aspirations. It will offer three academic strands with specialized curricula, namely, science, technology, engineering and mathematics; accountancy, business and management; and general academic strand.

The collaboration, however, goes beyond providing physical space for Edustria. Part of the partnership involves providing Edustria’s students internship and potential job opportunities with local and multinational companies located at LIMA Technology Center, offering traditional classroom discussions reinforced by a comprehensive work immersion program.

Edustria’s facilities include airconditioned, multimediaequipped classrooms and WiFi internet hotspots around the campus.

The school also operates learning and other support facilities such as a fully stacked library and a guidance and counseling center.
