Cars, zombies and vampires bring adventure on GMA

GMA 7 offers all-out entertainm­ent to its loyal viewers with a thrilling line-up of movies today.

Sunday morning will surely be a treat for kids as Kapuso Movie Festival airs Cars 2. The animated film features the greatest race car in the world Lightning McQueen and his bestfriend Mater. Along with Luigi, Guido, Fillmore and Sarge, they travel the world so McQueen can compete in the first annual World Grand Prix held by a wealthy car named Miles Axlerod. However, Mater soon gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own when he discovers that evil Professor Zundapp is planning to sabotage the race. Will Mater stop the professor and save the racers?

Meanwhile, join Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballestero­s and Jose Manalo on GMA Blockbuste­rs via the horror-comedy film Trip Ubusan… The Lolas vs Zombies. In the film, Lola Nidora (Wally), Lola Tidora (Paolo) and Lola Tinidora (Jose) together with their granddaugh­ter join a group tour to go to the beach. As they rest at a gas station, a zombie appears and attacks the employees of the station. The infection spreads, killing and infecting civilians. They board the bus, alongside others to escape the area. Their survival resides in the knowledge of a kid about zombie types, and how to counter them.

Before the weekend officially ends, tune in on GMA’s Sunday Night Box Office (SNBO) for Halik ng Vampira starring Anjanette Abayari. A cursed female vampire goes around killing many people. Vanessa (Anjanette) is sought-after on a radio show for callers looking for dates. Posing as Midnight Solitaire, she gets many victims. Living a double life, Vanessa finds love in Victor (Raymond Bagatsing). Looking for a cure for her state, she turns to Victor for help.
