To strengthen its dedication to Filipino talent, Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO will be launching starting today its latest # UTmeArtPH collection in partnership with PhilSTAR L!fe, The Philippine STAR’s newest online lifestyle platform.

The UNIQLO Philippines and PhilSTAR L! fe # UTmeArtPH collection features illustrations published on the pages of In Between: The Art of Moving Forward, The STAR’s 34th-anniversary print and digital campaign last July.

The illustrations were designed by Filipino artists Nikka Maxino-Bagasan, Erika Ypil, and Monica Ong for PhilSTAR L!fe.

“I’m very excited about our collaboration with UNIQLO since it’s their first time to tie up with a local media entity, especially with PhilSTAR L!fe. It’s refreshing to see how the designs made for our anniversary issue were chosen for its latest #UTmeArtPH collection for the 2nd anniversary of their global flagship store,” says PhilSTAR Media Group EVP Lucien Dy Tioco.

The collaboration is part of the second anniversary of UNIQLO’s Global Flagship Store which includes local community partnerships, an updated UNIQLO U collection, the third edition of LifeWear Magazine, and exciting offers and app exclusives.

The UNIQLO Philippines and PhilSTAR L! fe # UTmeArtPH collection will be available only at UNIQLO Manila Global Flagship Store at Glorietta 5 in Makati City starting today until Oct. 22.

Customers will also have a chance to develop their creative journaling skills with a special online workshop from Maxino-Bagasan, Ypil, and Ong on Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. to be released via the UNIQLO Philippines Facebook page.

As part of the collaboration, a donation will be made to the Natasha Goulbourn Foundation.
