Pinky’s Grateful Tuesdays celebrates its first month
With over 400 families reached, chemist Pinky Tobiano, main host of Grateful Tuesdays (GT), found a reason to celebrate last Oct. 13. GT is now on its first month of sharing and inspiring people through the generosity of people working on and off the camera.
Tuesday last week, a different take on this celebration happened on GT’s fourth episode. A recap video of all the chosen barangays (namely Brgy. Katipunan, Brgy. Paltok and Brgy. Gulod for the Care and Share Program) was shown. Messages of gratitude came from laptop winners in the past three episodes.
Co-hosted by Yeng Constantino, GT gives its online viewers the chance to win P300 worth of load through its online fun game. In the episode, Brgy. Nagkaisang Nayon was the chosen barangay where residents, specifically frontliners, grandparents and solo parents, were given assistance and food packs. Pinky was assisted by field host Charming Lakwatsadora, Charm Aranton.
An informative discussion also took place. Department of Agriculture Sec. Dr. William Dar shared programs on how to help Filipino farmers. On the other hand, founding farmer/ president/CEO of AGREA Cherrie Atilano reiterated the importance for farmers to never stop learning. With their farm school, farmers can study and improve their business into a sustainable one.
With the learning comes kilig as Kyle Echarri serenaded GT viewers with a special song number. The teen heartthrob sang his latest single, I’m Serious, which he also wrote by himself.
Pinky and Yeng awarded another laptop winner, Charlotte Monroid, who is a cancer survivor and a solo parent. Her inspiring story of bravery and courage touched the hearts of the hosts and viewers. She thanked the show and shared a glimpse of her struggle from being a widowed warrior to being a cancer fighter.
Grateful Tuesdays airs Tuesday nights from 7 to 8 at CSTV Facebook Page. It is broadcast simultaneously at Chemist Pinky Tobiano FB Page, Cornerstone Entertainment YouTube Channel and CSTV Kumu account.
