Get hired on the spot, on air

The recently launched show on air, Oh My Job! (OMJ), hosted by Arnell Ignacio, Tuesday Niu and Bea Binene, is advocating for Filipino workers here and abroad. In this time of global pandemic, when work opportunities are scarce, OMJ, which simultaneously airs on GMA News TV and DZBB 594 Super Radyo, Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., encourages the retrenched that there’s hope for them and they just need to be ready as success and opportunities come to those who are prepared.

The show last week invited Thaison Builder and Developer, Inc. that offered job openings to skilled workers and staff for its construction sites. Its representative Michelle Ramos provided details for the job application. The job openings led to the follow-up segment called Hired On The Spot where applicants go through a live interview and get hired on the spot.

The show gave away a free bike through its segment Oh… May Jolly! to a caller from Bacoor Cavite, who got laid off because of the pandemic. He was redirected to an instant job offer to be a food carrier for Lalamove.

Host Bea was recently announced by Sec. Silvestre Bello III as the new celebrity ambassadress of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
