The Bureau of Customs ( BOC) has confiscated 35,345 tablets of anti- anxiety medicines diazepam and nitrazepam with a street value of P1.8 million at a courier firm’s warehouse near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport ( NAIA) in Pasay City.
The tablets of Valium and Mogadon, discovered during an examination of packages at the Pair Cargo warehouse, were sent in a parcel from Pakistan declared as “health care products,” the BOC-NAIA said.
