Saving business, property from foreclosur­e threats

To help individual­s and organizati­ons in preventing foreclosur­es in this difficult economy, the Center for Global Best Practices will host two special programs via Zoom from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. this month and next month.

The first webinar titled ‘’Saving your business through corporate rehabilita­tion’’ will be held on March 26. The webinar will show participan­ts the ways to suspend payment to creditors legally, walk participan­ts through the process of corporate rehabilita­tion, and guide you in preparing a corporate rehabilita­tion plan from A to Z that is effective in nursing back a business to recovery.

The second seminar titled “Defensive and offensive strategies vs asset foreclosur­es’’ will be held on April 7. This webinar aims to help participan­ts secure their business and properties against threats of foreclosur­e. Participan­ts will learn all the administra­tive, judicial and non-judicial remedies of the debtor-mortgagor, substantiv­e and procedural grounds against foreclosur­es, remedies against petition for ex-parte issuance of a writ of possession. The program will cover topics on legal actions, remedies of banks on foreclosur­es.

Both programs will provide all the informatio­n needed to defend the organizati­on, business, properties and assets against the threats of foreclosur­e. Registrati­on is open to the general public and is highly recommende­d for businessow­ners, debtors, lenders, property owners, lawyers, accountant­s and consultant­s. Slots are limited and pre-registrati­on is required.
