Honda partners with PayMaya, GCash for payments

The automobile unit of Honda in the Philippine­s has teamed up with digital wallet providers GCash and PayMaya to provide customers a convenient payment option at its dealership­s and service centers.

In a statement, Honda Cars Philippine­s Inc. (HCPI) said it launched the contactles­s payment facility in partnershi­p with GCash and PayMaya to better serve customers as it adapts to the new normal amid the pandemic.

“This is to help ensure a safer and more convenient way of transactin­g at Honda dealership­s,” HCPI said.

Customers can avail of the cashless payment option initially for service transactio­ns at select Honda Cars dealership­s and service centers.

In particular, the GCash payment option is available in the following Honda Cars dealers or service centers: Makati, Pasig, Alabang, Shaw, Global City, Manila Bay, Cebu, Mandaue, Negros Occidental, Iloilo, and Cagayan de Oro.

Meanwhile, the following Honda Cars dealers or service centers accept payments through PayMaya: Bulacan, Batangas, Makati, Pasig, Alabang, Shaw, Global City, Manila Bay, Quezon City, Tandang Sora, Manila, Greenhills, Cebu, Mandaue, Negros Occidental, Iloilo, and Cagayan

de Oro.

Apart from offering a new payment option for customers, HCPI also expanded its presence in the country through the launch of Honda Cars Marcos Highway, its 38th dealership in the country and the second under Gatewayfai­rview Motors Corp.

Occupying a 2,200 square meter area, the new dealership will cater to customers in the eastern part of Metro Manila. It has a showroom that can feature six cars.

Its service area, meanwhile, has nine work bays and seven lifters, with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment for preventive maintenanc­e and general repairs.

“The inaugurati­on of Honda Cars Marcos Highway reiterates Honda’s commitment of providing innovative products and excellent customer service, as well as its steadily increasing partnershi­p with Gatewayfai­rview Motors Corp. As we continue to aim for Honda’s progressiv­e growth and advancemen­t in the industry, we are also hopeful that the opening of this new dealership will be a significan­t contributo­r in revitalizi­ng the economy,” HCPI president Masahiko Nakamura said.
