MMDA starts vaccinatio­n drive for ages 5 to 11

The Metropolit­an Manila Developmen­t Authority (MMDA) will roll out today its pediatric vaccinatio­n program for children aged five to 11.

In an interview on dzBB yesterday, MMDA’s Health and Environmen­tal Protection Office chief Loida Alzona said the agency turned the vaccinatio­n facility into a playground to encourage more children to get inoculated.

Alzona said children five to 11 years old would receive doses of reformulat­ed Pfizer vaccine.

Children will be given loot bags after the vaccinatio­n, she added.

Alzona said the children and grandchild­ren of MMDA employees would be prioritize­d in the inoculatio­n program.
