Love teams thrill fans at Star Magic 30 All-Star Games
Reel and real-life couples added to the excitement of fans who recently trooped to the Araneta Coliseum to catch a glimpse of their favorite Star Magic stars during the ABS-CBN talent management’s 30th-anniversary celebration, Star Magic 30 All-Star Games.
Before the actual games was the Parade of Stars, wherein each team entered with their muses. Star Hunt Team had Lou Yanong and Andi Abaya, It’s Showtime Team with Jackie Gonzaga, Star Magic New Breed Team with Alexa Ilacad and the Star Magic Dream Team with Belle Mariano.
Among the winners at the games were Daniel Padilla and Neil Coleta, who emerged as badminton champions, while Gello Marquez and Naomi Suello won in the mixed doubles category.
For the game between the Star Magic Lady Spikers and the Star Hunt Volleyball teams, the former took home the trophy. Vivoree, Dalia, Naomi, Gillian Vicencio, Analain Salvador, Ai dela Cruz, Carmela Ford, Ashley Colet, PJ Endrinal, Danica Ontengco, Chie Filomeno, Angela Ken and Andrea Brillantes formed part of the champion team.
Tan Roncal, Argel Saycon, Joseph Eugenio, Lance Carr, Kobie Brown, Bgyo Mikki, Bgyo Akira, Bgyo JL, John Adajar, Gino Roque and Tristan Ramirez also joined the Star Hunt Team. While KD Estrada, Louise Abuel, Isaiah dela Cruz, Henz Villaraiz, CJ Salonga, River Joseph, Lance Lucido, Tom Doromal, Neil Coleta, Ashton Salvador, Luke Alford, Igi Boy Flores, Grae Fernandez, Seth Fedelin and Kyle Echarri completed the Star Magic New Breed team.
Star Magic Hunt New Breed Team A won against Star Magic New Breed team and the Mythical 5 in the junior basketball category had River Joseph, Ashton Salvador, Aleck Iñigo, Argel Saycon and Lance Carr. On the other hand, in the Star Magic Dream Team versus Team Showtime game, Donny Pangilinan led the former with Paulo Angeles, RK Bagatsing, Jerome Ponce, Kyle Velino, Joao Constancia, Karl Gabriel, Miko Raval, Gerard Acao, Paolo Gumabao and Ronnie Alonte. While Vhong Navarro led Team Showtime together with Ogie Alcasid, Kid Yambao, Johannes Rissler, Zeus Collins, Nyoy Volante, Ion Perez, Teddy Corpuz, Eric Tai, Wilbert Ross and Ryan Bang. Vice Ganda was also present during the event to support Team Showtime that won the game.
ABS-CBN chief operation officer for Broadcast, Cory Vidanes, as well as TV Productions and Star Magic head, Lauren Dyogi graced the awarding ceremony. The game will soon be streamed on KTX.ph. Airing announcements will be shared on Star Magic’s official social media accounts.
