Senior management headed the 1AP Purpose Launch event, gathering the company’s senior leaders, middle managers, and team members to announce the new Massive Transformative Purpose.
The launch aimed to empower people within the organization through active participation and guidance on the new transformed purpose’s direction and value. When leaders inspire their teams toward this journey, it empowers the company to pursue a higher purpose – leaving a greater positive impact on the lives of every Filipino.

Owing to the growth and efforts of its Renewable Energy team, the company currently has 1,000 MW of disclosed RE projects and is committed to delivering 50:50 RE to Thermal by 2023.

The DigitaLeap program enables AboitizPower to integrate technological advances across all its business units with a long-term goal of increasing system reliability and scalability, reducing operating costs, and improving overall service to one million customers nationwide.
Throughout the digital transformational journey, AboitizPower has made significant progress in optimizing generation, distribution, and commercial operations. To improve customer service, AboitizPower partnered with Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI) to launch the Data Innovation Program. On the generation front, AboitizPower prevents equipment failure by putting its Asset Performance Management (APM) Predictive Analytics System in its Therma South Facility. Moreover, it installed operational technology (OT) cybersecurity systems in its facilities to ensure the security of employees and equipment in all its power plants.
