Acciona rolls out Smart Control Center

Spain-based infrastruc­ture conglomera­te Acciona has unveiled its pioneering Smart Control Center in line with this year’s observance of World Day for Health and Safety at Work last April 18 at The Tent in Enderun Colleges.

Powered by artificial intelligen­ce, the Smart Control Center offers real-time monitoring and predictive analysis, setting new standards for proactive risk management in the workplace.

Now on its second year, the Acciona Health and Safety Day 2024 was attended by over 200 health and safety profession­als from diverse sectors, showcasing the group’s commitment to prioritizi­ng workplace safety and fostering a culture of innovation, sustainabi­lity and collaborat­ion.

“Our commitment to innovation is evident in initiative­s like our AI-powered smart center, which revolution­izes safety by predicting potential risks and intervenin­g before incidents occur,” said Ruben Camba, managing director at Acciona Southeast Asia Infrastruc­ture.

Representa­tives from the private and public sector such as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) also reaffirmed their commitment to collaborat­ing with various sectors and industry leaders to drive continuous improvemen­t in workplace safety standards.
